Randy has been working in Ghana’s financial services sector for more than 10 years with significant experience in securities trading, investment advisory, international sales and deal origination.
Randy currently is the Executive Director, Global Markets at IC Securities (Ghana) Limited, overseeing the Equities and Fixed Income trading businesses. He began his career as an analyst with Databank Brokerage Limited (Member of Databank Group) where he rose to manage the Africa trading desk at the firm. He later went ahead to work with EDC Stockbrokers (Member of the Ecobank Group) performing various roles in trading, advisory, institutional coverage and international sales within the west Africa Sub region where Ecobank had presence.
Randy is licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and a registered securities dealer with the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE). He believes the next frontier of scalable businesses are in Africa’s densely populated and urban regions and is passionate about disruptive and cost-effective technology led ideas that deliver basic solutions to its people.
