Ghana Stock Exchange listed Dannex Ayrton Starwin PLC (DASPHARMA) has signed a deal with another Accra based pharmaceutical company, mPharma Pharmaceutical Limited, to collaborate on manufacturing and distribution of medicines across Ghana.

On the manufacturing side of the deal, mPharma Pharmaceutical is expected to engage DASPHARMA to manufacture some of the mPharma branded molecules. And in addition to its branded molecules, mPharma is also expected to distribute the products of DASPHARMA throughout its facilities across the country.

The successful implementation of the deal could lead to increased manufacturing volumes and sales for DASPHARMA in the coming years.

Three local giants in the pharmaceutical manufacturing business, Dannex Limited, which was established in 1964, Ayrton Drug Manufacturing Limited, which was incorporated in 1965 and Starwin Products Limited, which was formed in 1960, successfully merged their operations to form Dannex Ayrton Starwin PLC.
