Unilever Ghana unveils Pureit water purifier

Unilever Ghana has unveiled another of its breakthrough technology water purifier for the Ghanaian market.


According to Unilever, everyone needs pure drinking water hence the introduction of Pureit.

The water purifier has been introduced to provide the average Ghanaian, especially families, access to pure drinking water.

According to the Managing Director of Unilever Ghana Limited, Ms Mardie Arkutu, children under five years are the ones who suffer most from water-borne diseases which make them die before age five, and advised families and schools to acquire Pureit water purifier to save children.

The Brand Manager, Mr Sidick Daud, reiterated that the device was a leading in-home water purifier, manufactured in India in 2002 and meets all global norms and standards, especially of germkill criteria of the toughest drinking water regulatory body in the USA.

The device, he says, does not need electricity to function and can purify approximately 1,500 litres before a filter could be replaced.
