Joined the board in January 2002. Togbe Afede XIV holds an MBA degree from Yale University in USA and a Bsc Administration degree from the University of Ghana, Legon. He is currently the CEO of Strategic Initiatives Limited and SAS Finance Group Limited. Prior to founding these companies, he was an Executive Director of Databank Financial Services Limited (1990-1993) and a lecturer at the University of Ghana Business School (1990 – 1994). Among his major professional accomplishments, he co-founded Databank Financial Services limited and founded Strategic African Securities Limited, SAS Investment Management Limited, Sunon Asogli Power Ghana Limited, Accra World Trade Centre Limited and Africa World Airlines among others. Togbe also serves on the boards of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club Limited, Aluworks Limited and Bank of Ghana, and is a member of the President’s Economic Advisory Council.

Appointed to the board in July 2005, Mr. Biga is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Accountants (FCCA). He has had many years career-related working experience including 26 years with Unilever Ghana Limited where he retired in 1996 as Commercial Director. He subsequently worked with the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) as General Manager (Finance) and, later, as Chief Executive Officer of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana).

Joined the board in January 1991. Alhaji Isakah holds a Bsc degree in Economics from the University of Ghana, Legon. He is currently the Executive Chairman of Hariram Paper Products Limited. He previously worked at management level in UAC (Ghana) Limited and Ghana Oil Company Limited. He also worked for 5 years at the National Industrial Company Limited, first Deputy Managing Director and later Managing Director for 4 years. Subsequently, Alhaji served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of GHMOT, now known as Toyota Ghana Company Limited. In 1998, he was contracted by the State Enterprises Commission to reorganize the administration of the Commission. Alhaji Isaka has served on other boards in both the private and the public sectors.

Appointed to the board in July 2005. Mr. Ackah holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management from the Institute of Marketing Management in South Africa. Mr. Ackah is a Management Consultant and is currently a Senior Partner at Ishmael Yamson & Associates. From 1987 to 2004, he worked with Unilever Ghana, South Africa and United Kingdom in various management positions including Executive Directorship. Mr. Ackah is a specialist in marketing, vision and strategy development as well as process and organization review, including change management and capacity building.

Appointed to the board in July 2005. Mrs. Ahu, a catering graduate, is the Coordinator of Cook Art Ghana and the Executive Director of Trafix Catering Service. She has distinguished herself in the catering industry having won several awards, among which are the Presidential Award for the Promotion of Ghanaian Dishes in 2004 and the prestigious Marketing Woman of the Year 2004 awarded by the Chartered Institute Marketing, Ghana. Mrs. Ahu holds membership of several international organizations and is an elected member of the Hotel and Catering Institutional Management Association.
Dr. Kobina Quansah Member

Appointed to the board in July 2005. Dr. Quansah holds a Bsc degree in Economics from the University of Ghana, Legon and an Honorary Doctorate Degree from the University of Development Studies. He joined Barclays Bank of Ghana Limited in 1997 and later became its first Ghanaian Managing Director in 1999, until he retired in 2004. Dr. Quansah is a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers. He is currently the Chairman of Vodafone Ghana. He serves on the following boards: CAL Bank Limited, Unique Insurance Company Limited, Finatrade Foundation and Newmont Ghana Gold Limited.

Appointed to the board in July 2006. Mr. Krofah joined Unilever Ghana Limited in 1956 where specialized in brand building and trade development in Africa and United Kingdom until he became the Marketing Director in 1981. In 1987, Mr. Krofah was appointed the Executive Director of UAC Ghana Limited with responsibility for the Trading Division (GB Olivant, Kingsway Stores, etc), a role he played until he retired in 1994. He is currently the Lead Consultant of WACROFT Marketing Consulting and Managing Director of Wileb Mining Supplies. He is the immediate past President of the Ghana Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Federation of West Africa Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
