Mr. Joseph Nsonamoah is the Chairman of the UT Bank Board of Directors and co-founder of the UT Group of companies. A distinguished Business Executive, he is also the Chief Executive Officer of Data Unique Group and co-owns Prime Time Food Mart in Texas, USA. Always the entrepreneur, he gained varied experiences working in the marketing department at Tenneco Oil Company and later ventured into retail management, joining a partner to build Prime Time Food Mart in Texas. Joseph is a part-time importer and exporter of goods/merchandise, an enterprise he has successfully managed since 1989. He attended South Texas Junior College, now (University of Houston Downtown Campus) and Prairie View A&M University, where he majored in Accounting and Finance. Mr. Nsonamoah and the CEO were finalists in the Ernst & Young West Africa Entrepreneurs of the Year Award 2011. His passion is children and the under privileged which has led to his numerous charitable events over the years. Notable is the annual Christmas Outreach Program held simultaneously in various regions. He is indeed a philanthropist with a heart of gold!

Prior to his appointment as CEO, Mr. Stephen Antwi-Asimengwas the Chief Operating Officer of UT Bank. He is the key driver of the bank?s strategic, financialand operational priorities. He has held several Senior and Executive Management positions including Board level appointments in the banking and financial services industry in Ghana. Prior to joining UT Bank, he was the Operating Officer at Universal Merchant Bank Limited, where he played several key roles in the rebranding, turnaround and business growth of the bank. Mr.Antwi-Asimengholds a Master of Arts degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Wales, UK, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Ghana and has received executive education from reputable institutions including the Amsterdam Institute of Finance and Harvard Business School.

Mr. Martyn Mensah holds a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Bath, an MBA and a diploma from Imperial College Business School, London and is the first African to be elected as a Global Marketer by the Worldwide Marketing Association. He is a management professional with a passion for strategy, leadership, operational optimization and marketing. Over a career spanning some 20 years, he has accumulated a wealth of knowledge in the theory and practice of management. He is ranked 3rd on the current PriceWaterhouseCoopers list of "Ghana's Most Respected CEO's", whilst Kasapreko Company Limited where he was Chief Executive until February 2013, is the 2nd Most Respected Company. Kasapreko is also ranked sixth (first in the manufacturing category) on the current Ghana Club 100 listing. He is also Chairman of the Board of Petra Trust, a pension's trustee licensed under Ghana's new pensions Act. Other boards on which he serves include those of Enablis Ghana and The Zawadi Foundation. Mr. Mensah is a founder and the resident Director of Strat-Afrique Development Ltd. a South African based firm of international corporate strategy advisors. Previously, he founded and ran a successful local management consulting practice in Ghana, founded and managed Steadman Group Ltd. (now Ipsos Ghana), worked at the Bank of Ghana and was a Risk Analyst with Natwest Bank's Group Treasury & capital Markets units in the UK. He was appointed to the board in 2003.

Mrs. Linda Osei-Akoto is the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of NSIA Ghana Insurance Company Limited an affiliate of Groupe NSIA, which is a network of Insurance Companies and Banks operating in 12 countries in Africa. She has extensive experience in the Insurance industry which started in 1994 at Topa Insurance Company, Los Angeles California, then to Edward Mensah, Wood & Associates Ltd, International Brokers and Consultants (Marsh Reps) Accra, Ghana. In 2000 she was appointed as the Regional Underwriter for Munich Reinsurance Company in Accra Ghana. She then moved to the USA where she worked with several Insurance Companies including AON Insurance Company as an Accounts Executive for commercial lines. She graduated from University of Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire in 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts in Education, majoring in French and English Language. She is a bilingual Insurer with several professional qualifications including an AIAM (Associate in Insurance Account Management) obtained from IIAB of America - Richmond, Virginia, Certification in Commercial Property/Liability Risk Management and a Property and Casualty License for Washington D.C, Virginia and Maryland . Mrs. Osei-Akoto is a member of the American Institute for Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters, Insurance Institute of America and Insurance Institute for Applied Ethics.

Mr. Alex Bernasko is a retired member of the top management of the Bank of Ghana. He started his career in 1984 as an officer Grade 2, rising through the ranks to become Secretary and Advisor to the Bank of Ghana Board and member of top management of the Bank. A Barrister-at-law, Mr. Bernasko held various positions at the Bank, including Director at the Governor’s office, Director and Head of Legal Department, Chief Manager & Secretary to the Board of Directors as well as Deputy Chief Manager at the Secretary’s department. In addition to his normal work schedule, Mr Barnasko also played key roles in some major projects of the Bank. These are: Chairman, Re-denomination Steering Committee, which had oversight responsibilities for the planning and successful execution of the national redenomination exercise from November 2006 to January 2008; Chairman, Standing Joint Negotiation Committee, which successfully negotiated with the Employees Union for a new Collective Agreement from January to June 2008 as well as Chairman of the Continuity Planning Committee which formulated the first ever business continuity plan for the Bank. Mr. Bernasko was also Secretary to the Technical Committee on the Establishment of a Stock Exchange in Ghana - 1987; Secretary, Technical Committee on the Financial Sector Adjustment Programme - 1991/1992; Secretary, Committee on Harmonization of Remuneration in the Banking Industry – 1992, Member, Committee on West Africa Clearing House (WACH) and West Africa Bankers Association (WABA) Sub-regional Seminar. He is a product of the Ghana School of Law, where he graduated in 1983 after a Qualifying Certificate in Law from the Institute of Adult Education of the University of Ghana. He holds a (BA) Honours in Social Sciences-Law and Economics from the University of Science & Technology in 1975. He is also an old boy of Adisadel College-Cape Coast. Mr Bernasko is a member of a number of Boards. These include; Member, Cape Coast Development Company Ltd, Ghana Tourist Development Company Ltd. As a professional he belongs to the Ghana Bar Association, International Bar Association and the Institute of Directors, Ghana.

Mr. Prince Kofi Amoabeng is the co-founder of the UT Group of companies. He is an investment consultant and a retired military officer (Captain). He served as CEO from the company?s inception and retired at the end of December 2015. He currently serves as the President of the UT Group. He graduated from the University of Ghana with a B.Sc Administration, (Accounting) and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA-UK) and a member of Chartered Accountants CA (GH). He has extensive experience in managing businesses through excellent customer relations, strategic and tactical business planning as well as strategic partnerships including 12 years lecturing at the Ghana Stock Exchange. His achievements include three times running ?Ghana?s Most Respected CEO (2008, 2010 and 2012) organized by Pricewaterhousecoopers and B&FT. He is Ghana?s Johnny Walker Giant; Overall Best Entrepreneur in the Maiden Ghana Entrepreneurs Award (2011); No. 3 in the 100 most influential Ghanaians as compiled by ETV, Ghana (2012) as well as the joint finalist with his partner in the Ernst & Young West Africa Entrepreneur of the Year Award (2011). Others are: National Honours for an Order of the Star of the Volta- Officer?s Division presented by the President of Ghana in 2008 and one of two Ghanaians profiled in Moky Makura?s book on Africa?s greatest entrepreneurs which profiles 16 of Africa?s top entrepreneurs and Marketing Man of the Year 2006. Mr. Amoabeng is a member of the Board of Directors of the Ghana Interbank Payment Settlement System (GHIPSS), Chairman of the Council of Enablis Ghana (Canadian Entrepreneurial NGO) and member of the International Advisory Board of China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), in Ghana.

Ms. Gillian Slater is a seasoned financial professional, with over 20 years of experience gained in several multinational organisations. She joins UT Bank tasked to drive financial performance with direct supervision over the Finance, Treasury, and Investor Relations functions. Until her appointment, Ms. Slater was the Chief Finance Officer of UT Holdings, parent company of UT Bank, and has been involved in a number of successful rationalization, growth and turnaround strategies for some of the subsidiaries in the UT Group. Ms. Slater has unparalleled experience in conducting due diligence and overseeing the valuation of the entire franchise business of a leading Asian hotel chain which led to a $1 billion acquisition of the chain by Marriott International. She has also led the development of a capital long range planning process for the second largest UT Logistics organisation, US Foodservice, thereby assisting them to formulate a new strategic direction for a $1.6 billion planned capital expenditure. Ms. Slater is credited as being the brain behind the valuation of the largest telecom subcontract deal worth over $80M for Vodafone Ghana and was closely involved in the selection and negotiation processes of the deal. Ms. Slater has held several positions across the business and corporate landscape internationally and nationally including Controller and Head of Finance and Accounting positions in several organisations globally, including Director, Financial Planning and Analysis for Marriott International; Director, Capital Planning and Analysis for US Foodservice; Technology Controller, Financial Controller and Head of Finance Decision Support all for Vodafone Ghana. Her international work experience spans Europe, USA and Africa. She holds a combined degree in French and Linguistics from the University of Ghana, Legon. She did her MBA studies at the University of Westminster and is a Chartered Accountant. She started her career at the Attorney General’s Department and subsequently worked as a solicitor at Fugar & Co., a private legal practice. She then went on to work in various departments in Ghana Commercial Bank from Oct.1981- March 1994: Secretary, Board Loans Recovery Committee, and Assistant Secretary to the Executive Management Committee and subsequently as Deputy Manager and acting as Secretary at Board Meetings. She has worked in various capacities at management and senior management levels in the Bank including General Manager, Support Services, Head of Marketing, where she helped in the establishment of the Marketing Department. She also supervised the Administration & Human Resource and Legal Departments of the Bank and was a local nominee Director for British Telecom Global Services and Kosmos Energy LLC. She holds a LL.B (Hons) from the University of Ghana and BL from Ghana School of Law.

He has combined 13 years experience in Banking Operations, Foreign Operations/Trade Finance, Retail Banking, Corporate Banking and Risk Management in leading banks, Ghana Commercial Bank Limited and Ecobank Ghana Limited. He also has over 2 years international exposure with Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI) as Acting Country Risk Manager for Sierra Leone and Country Risk Manager for The Gambia. Simon holds a first degree in Economics and an MBA in Finance. He is also an associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB).

Prior to her current role, Ms Johnson was Head of Treasury and Acting Head of Corporate Banking at UT Bank Limited. Ms Johnson has a wide range of experiences across the Treasury function and enhanced her capacity as Acting Head of Corporate Banking. She established the Public Sector unit within Corporate Banking and oversaw the growth of the unit to a portfolio of over $500m in transactions. Prior to joining UT Bank, Ms Johnson was the Head of International Banking at Barclays Bank Ghana, where she set up the first offshore banking operations in Ghana. She was previously Deputy Treasurer & Head of Funding and Capital Management at Barclays, having risen through the ranks from Treasury Analyst to Head of Liquidity Management. Ms Johnson has been on working assignments in Mauritius, Uganda and Kenya. She has taken advanced courses in Capital and Liquidity Management, and holds the ACI dealing certificate and Fellowship. She holds an MSc in International Securities from the University of Reading (UK).

Mr. Achiamponghas served in SME and Retail Banking roles with Standard Chartered Bank and Stanbic Bank. At Stanbic Bank, he was the Head of Commercial Banking and Head of New Markets and Segments Proposition before joining UT Bank. Prior to joining UT Bank, Mr. Achiampong was the Head of New Markets and Segments Proposition at Stanbic Bank. His responsibility was the development of sector and segment proposition for the Business Banking segment of the bank. He was previously responsible for New Business and Commercial Banking. Mark?s extensive career in retail banking includes serving as the Head of Products & Segmentation Solutions, Head Credit Service and Head of Sales all at Standard Chartered Bank Ghana. In addition he has had various working stints in Kenya, South Africa and Singapore offices of Standard Chartered Bank. With his breadth of leadership experience, Mr. Achiampong brings to UT the skilled hands to drive focused growth and execution of our retail strategy. Mr. Achiampong holds a BA in Business Marketing from Nanyang University, Singapore. In addition to an OMEGA Certification in Credit Skills Assessment, Mr. Achiampong has completed several training courses in Banking and marketing.

Mr. Akaba has over 20 years of experience in various aspects of bank operations, having worked in frontline business, finance roles and managed operations in multiple geographies. Prior to his current role, he was the Director of Operations at Universal Merchant Bank. He has been instrumental in the development of Ecobank Ghana?s learning and development arm, and was the lead in turning around the operations of several Ecobank subsidiaries in Liberia, Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, where he served as Head of Operations and Technology at various points in time. Mr. Akaba began his career with Standard Chartered Bank Ghana Limited. Mr. Akaba is a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB) and holds a Post-Graduate Certificate in Business Administration from the University of Leicester. He has completed various courses in financial analysis, trade and leadership in the course of his career.

Paul has worked as the Investment Banker with JPMorgan Chase & Co., where he specialised on recapitalisation transactions, leveraged buyouts and credit facilities for asset management firms. He has extensive experience in assisting Small and Medium-sized companies to build and manage portfolios of financial and real assets. Mr. Ababio holds a BA in Economics and French from Franklin & Marshall College and an MBA in Financial Instruments and Strategy from New York University.

Mr.Dakurah is a senior IT professional with over 13 years progressive work experience in IT - software development, systems administration , project management and a host of business applications.He possesses excellent project management skills and is familiar with avariety of infrastructure and web-based technologies. As a Team Member of the E-Business department and the Systems Analyst/Programmer of UBA Ghana, he developed and implemented the first Real-time Transactions Notification System (Wise Alerts) in the Ghanaian banking industry for UBA Ghana Limited and handled the automation of over 70% of the bank?s operational process for improved efficiency and Turnaround Time. Mr.Dakurah set up the E-Business department of UT Bank Ghana Ltd, implemented the electronic cards, Internet and Mobile Banking programme for as well as Bank On Foot (Mobile Teller) Project.He was a Team Member of the E-Business department and the Systems Analyst/Programmer of UBA Ghana. Mr.Dakurah joined UT Bank as the Manager of the E-Business Department and rose through the ranks to become the Acting Head, Banking Technology and subsequently the Head of the Banking Technology. He holds numerous certifications including ITIL, PRINCE 2, PCI DSS including a BSC in Computer Science from Regent University College of Science and Technology and an Msc in Engineering Project Management from Coventry University, UK.
